Kingsley Coman ready to face competition amidst Sane arrival rumors

Following Hansi Flick’s pre-match press conference on Tuesday, the Bavarian boss once again diligently emphasized the vital positions in the squad. Flick said there is a need for more quality and competitions on the flanks, most notably in the right-back positions and both wings.

All fingers seem to point at the direction of Manchester City and german winger Leroy Sane as the Bavarians are in in-depth negotiations with the 23-year old.

Sane’s imminent arrival will give Flick more options in the attacking final third as the trickery, pace, and direct play, which will be adopted by Bayern, will break teams that defend so deep.

Sane has immensely improved under the watch of Pep Guardiola at City as his dribbling and, most importantly, scoring abilities have been top-notch.

Sane in the Bayern team will bring competition to the likes of Serge Gnabry and most especially French winger Kingsley Coman, since both players play in the same position.

However, Coman has said that he have no fears and ready to compete for the first-team spot in the team, insisting the clubs hold him with high value and, therefore, not worried about new faces.

Speaking to reporters, Coman said, ” As you can see, that’s not a big deal for me. It is of great advantage to the team if there much players at this level. If Sane arrives, it will not be an issue at all. Except the club, hierarchies tell me they don’t need my services again. But I believe the club has great plans for me*.

Coman has endured another season after many injuries, and he is back in top form. If he could stay injury-free, he might be difficult for Sane to cement a starting spot in the first team.
